After a hundred-year sandstorm, Zhang San, a young soldier, meets Li Si, an enemy aristocrat in the desolate desert. The kind-hearted Zhang San only wants to take the money he has saved and go home to live a simple life with his wife and children, while the sophisticated Li Si has a more ambitious vision.
